When you're Wright....you're right.........

Picking out the nuggests that best expose the intellectual bankruptcy that IS liberalism.....from reality, politics, the media, sports and entertainment...and having a few laughs doing it.

NOW THAT'S JUST WHAT WE NEED.....
SOME CALIFORNIA OFFICIALS want to allow 14-17 year olds to vote. Now that's just great. Let's turn loose a group of kids who, thanks to the wonderful public education system we have, cannot tell the difference between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans nor the difference between Washington State and Washington DC on a map (as established by test results.) Oh please, let's let THOSE folks vote.

LIBERALS of course love this....the more idiots who vote, the more likely liberals are to win. (This is why wrighthot.com always advocates LOW voter turn out. We don't like GOTV efforts (get out the vote)...we prefer KITV (keep in the vote) efforts.

PARTIAL VOTES: the plan described above calls for a sliding scale where 14 year olds will be give one fourth of a vote and so on....up to 17's...who will get .75 of a vote. Great.

NOW ALL WE NEED is for the Florida elections board to come count hanging "quarter chads." Can you imagine the nightmare.

And naturally, once the 14 year olds have a quarter vote...it is just one law suit away before they will get a full vote. Remember the 9th Circus Court of Appeals is IN Cali.

AMEN.....AND PASS THE PLATE (QUIETLY)!
THE GODLESS AMERICANS, as they have dubbed themselves, have started a new policital action committee...called GAMPAC. But get this, GAMPAC will agree NOT TO ENDORSE candidates publicly if they get their way with that candidate. I guess they will endorse the hell out of you (pun intended) if you DON"T listen to them.

You gotta love liberals. Now they admit they can't admit what they are. Readers of WrightHot have known this.

BASE ENERGIZED? A lot of talk about the Democrat base being super energized. Perhaps that is true, if you understand that the Democrat base is actually the media. They are indeed energized. They may be about it, however. For all of the hoopla, actual Democrat turn out this year is actually lower than Gore's romp in 2000 and is in fact the THIRD LOWEST EVER. Sounds like a Jimmy Carter style energy crisis to me. (of course, the media is doing everything they can to charge it up...and that might work.)

HIGH TECH, LOW TECH....? After complaining for months that the old fashioned hanging chad machines were too low tech and obsolete, now Florida democrats are bitching that the new high tech stuff is... well...too high tech. Now they want a flippin' RECIEPT from the machines after they "touch screen" their vote. I think the real problem is that Florida Democrats are TOO  STUPID to be allowed to vote. Afterall, the Dem party down there RUNS ALL THE ELECTIONS..including the 2000 race.

HOW PHAT IS FAT?  Sleazy trial attorneys trying to snake billions from fast food restaurants have really gone off the deep end now. It isn't bad enough that they are trying to enrich themselves by destroying jobs and stock value within several fast food companys...now they are saying their fight is just like Brown v Board of Education (the bussing case). Give me a break. Over indulging at a fast food restaurant ain't a civil rights case. Fiss sammich and skrawberry shake please.

LITTLE DICK G RALLIES IN FLORIDA
STOP THE PRESSES...LITTLE DICK GEPHARDT is starting a big time rally against John "Effen" Kerry for the Democratic nomination. Never mind he has long since pulled out of the race...Little Dick carried Bay County Florida by a 2-1 margin over Kerry last night. Oh, I guess they got him confused with Pat Buchannan. Let's see the Dems blame THIS ONE on the GOP.

SHAMELESS EXPLOITATION of Pearl Harbor for political purposes...YES. FDR kicked off his 1944 campaign for re-election by giving a stump speech AT PEARL HARBOR. I wonder if Terry McAuliffe had a problem with that. (bunch o damn hypocrits.)

QUESTION FOR LIBERALS: Libs are always complaining that workers are getting screwed here and consumers are getting screwed there, etc. I wonder if it ever dawned on a liberal that generally WORKERS and CONSUMERS are the SAME FOLKS! For example, if you "outsource" jobs oversees, you are screwing the workers. But then again, if you make companies stay and hire American workers, then you are screwing the consumers. Maybe, just maybe, the libs should shut up and let THE MARKET WORK ITSELF OUT. It always does...the worker-consumer issues are all handled that way.

I know I know...never confuse a lib with the facts...ESCECIALLY in an election year.

SO JOHN KERRY is quoted as saying he wants to "blow Usama Bin Laden's brains out." Hmmm. Might be hard to do Johnnny boy...with no military and no intelligence community....and no death sentence. Funny how libs are only conveniently liberal.

SO WHO IS IT THAT LOVES JOHN KERRY ANYWAY?
APPARENTLY IT IS NOT THERESA HEINZ KERRY, the ketchup widow heiress who endowed him with 800 mill upon the words "I do." (see the only two words Kerry needs in a job interveiw).

Nor is it the mass of Dem voters who have handed him the nomination. In a recent poll, Kerry voters responded overwhelmingly that they were voting "against Bush" (61%) as opposed to "for Kerry" (36%). Meanwhile, the Bush voters were in favor of Bush over against Kerry 86-13. More proof Bush' new tone is worthless. THANKS KARL ROVE. (DumpKarlRove.com is coming soon).

UNKNOWN FOREIGN LEADERS IN LOVE? Recently Kerry said from the stump that many foreign leaders are just begging him to "please beat that guy" but that he couldn't divulge who these folks are.

Well that's just great. Since when do we need foreign leaders' opinions on who to elect. Good thing we didn't rely on King George in the 1700s to give us our directions. Anyway...the list probably includes Yassir Arafat, Jacques Chirac, Saddam Hussein, Kim Jong Il.

Then again, Kerry could just be lying....again. In this case, he might be better off if that were the case.

MASSACHUSETTS CONSERVATIVE
NEVER THOUGHT OF TED KENNEDY as a conservative? Well, think again. The senior senator from "Taxachusetts" is apparently the most conservative of the state's two senators. The liberal member? John Kerry, according to the liberal organization that measures and scores all members of congress on a scale. Kerry came in at a whopping 96, just ahead of Marx and Lenin. Kennedy was at 92. I guess Kerry came close to switching sides in Viet Nam....the North would have represented his future voting record more closely.

RUDY FIGHTING BACK: The Bush campaign is getting some help with this mindless and staged reaction to their 9-11 ads....from Rudy Guiliani...Mr. 911 if there ever was one. He is doing the circuit this week defending the ads.

DUMB REPUBLICAN STRATEGISTS: one group we have to blame for the election of folks like John Kerry are weak and scared GOP strategists. Marc Racicot is Chair of the Bush Campaign..and he was reasoning that his team was not fighting back as hard as some want because they "didnt' want to dignify" some of the attacks. Right. And in 95, the GOP did not dignify the attacks on our side wanting to throw old folks out on the street and ruin education and end social security...and now those undignified YET UN CHALLENGED charges DOMINATE the scaredy cat Republican strategy machine. BUNCH OF WEAK DUMMIES....why did we hire the genderless wonders anyway?

FOX NEWS, GEORGE WILL, GREENSPAN, ETC
FOX NEWS has certainly been a Godsend to all common sense endowed folks in this country...but they do have their "issues." Namely, their weekend info-babes.....are right there among the dumbest in the business. I get the feeling these chicks have no more idea what is rolling across their teleprompter than my 17 year old...er my 11, no make that my 7 year old.

SATURDAY FOX's Molly Hanneberg "dutifully" reported that "some of the victim's families are upset" at the Bush campaign for running re election ads that had a brief glimpse of the 9-11 rubble in the background. Now c'mon Molly dear...my CAT knows that these are all Democrat activits plants...that no families are upset at this unless they are politically motivated to be upset at Bush period. The BRUTAL REALITY: many of the 9-11 vics in NY were reaping the fruits of voting in a whole lot of anti-military and anti-intelligence liberals for decades. Remember...that is BRUTAL REALITY...equal doses of both. Sorry. Truth stinks sometimes.

GEORGE WILL is never confused with being a dumb info-babe...on either count. The brainly scribe has a brilliantly and classicly "Will-ian" column on the truth of Social Security and Alan Greenspan's take on the future of it. Remember the line "truck stinks" and "brutal reality." Both are true of "sosh-security" and it will be interesting to see if any of it manages to be part of this election. If it isn't...it should be.

JOHN KERRY has the grasp of economics you would expect from somoeone who got rich by marrying widow's and divorcees rolling in the cash made by SOME OTHER GUY. Which is to say...none. His parading around the country acting like the loss of a factory job (that no one wants) has never happened before. BTW....have you ever heard a Democrat get upset at the failure of an entrepreneurial venture. Hell no. They've no idea what one is, let alone its importance to job creation.

QUICK QUOTE: what are the only two words needed in a John Kerry JOB INTERVIEW:  Answer: I DO.
