Anyway, in a temper tantrum thrown at the guilty verdict of Martha Stewart, she proclaimed very correctly that she "was beside herself." Is that an emotional or physical complaint, Rosie?

 

Of course, I thought libs like Rosie were just delighted anytime one of America's robber barons got it on the chin....so one would think that she would delight in Stewart's fall. Then again, that would be logical and intellctually consistent...and we can't burden liberals with being EITHER OF THOSE.

 

And actually, the case against Stewart was a bit shady. This is not something many folks would be prosecuted for. Seems like a lot of star gazing is going on among the nation's DA's. Too much Law and Order envy going around. The cases against Steward, Jackson, Bryant and Limbaugh all smack of selective prosecution...scalp hunting by folks we would otherwise never hear about. And that is not a political statement...though most everything else on this site certainly is. That just seems to be some of the worst of human nature playing out.

 

WILL YOU MARRY ME? So Walter Cronkite has indicated recently that he "wouldn't mind" marrying another man. Hmmm. That's an image that will send you to therapy if you dwell on it too long.

This was significant because winning Georgia was the only way Edwards would stay in the race. By the time CNN had Kerry winning Georgia, all of the other nets had the whole thing signed, sealed and delivered....including the time and place of Edward's "pulling out" speech. As if Judy Woodruff needed any help looking stupid. Normally all that  requuires is plugging in the camera.

 

WHAT DID YOU EXPECT: in a surreal display of idiocy and hypocrisy, the liberal media has abandoned their intellectually bankrupt argument that Mel Gibson's "Passion" is anti Semitic...and now they are on the "gory death trip" criticism. NO DUH....the central action of the entire script is about someone being crucified....known by all historians as the goriest most painful and humiliating torture ever divised by mankind. This should come as no real surprise.

 

GOP STRATEGISTS have long been reknown for winning "NO DUHS"...and they are off to another rousing start with the Bush Kerry brawl. I have a novel idea...how about tying them together like this: the biggest ding to the economy in decades was 9-11 and the ensuing terrorism threat....which was brought on by, among other things..LIBERAL policies weakening our intelligence community...meaning the biggest drag on our economy now is ALL RELATED TO TERROR...and we know LIBS are the anti-military and anti-intelligence party...so the last thing we need to do for our economy is turn over foreign policy and the war on terror to the LIBS. HARD AS IT IS TO BELIEVE, perhaps the most incorrectly reported story in years has been the phoney "controversy" about Gibson's "The Passion..." The anti-Semitic bent is the most disturbing. There is nothing of the sort in the film. The worst folks are the Roman (as in, Gentile) soldiers. The second worst is the Jewish Sanhedrin. In both cases...there are some real villians and some heros in each group. Just like real life.

 

TRUE CHRISTIANS have rarely, if ever, been anti-Semitic. Too often, folks who aren't Muslim and aren't Jewish are just classified "christian" when they should be classified "none of the above."

 

TRUE CHRISTIANS, as in those as defined by the Bible as born again believers, worship a Jewish carpenter with 12 Jewish disciples based on a testamant written by a bunch of Jews and using that as the perfection of a law brought down from a mountain by another Jewish guy (though he was well traveled). Folks who know the Bible know all this.
