When you're Wright....you're right.........

Picking out the nuggests that best expose the intellectual bankruptcy that IS liberalism.....from reality, politics, the media, sports and entertainment...and having a few laughs doing it.

"MCCAIN" WAY TO BUILD YOURSELF UP.......
ESPN's SEAN SALISBURY must be one more insecure dude...he is always having to create imaginary 'boogey men" to try and make himself look good. (normal modus operandi for media libs in all genre...and it is so irritating).

After he ran thru some 600 Rush Limbaugh references in the McNabb thing,  he switched to the "Peyton haters" and jumped on the Peyton Manning bandwagon. He rode it hard through the Colts two play off wins where Manning was unbelievably good...and he was back on it today regarding the Pro Bowl.

Hey Sean...it's great to be a Peyton fan. One problem though...THERE ARE NO PEYTON HATERS! At least, not very many and they aren't a factor in the sports media. Are you so childish that you can't take an opinion without denegrating those on the other side of the opinion...EVEN IF THEY DON'T EXIST? No wonder you turned down the QB job with the Arizona Cardinals....you can only thrive in the make believe world of sports TV with that kind of immaturity. What a schmuck.

WHY THE "McCAIN" WAY LABEL? Because this is the same sickness and same phoney courage that has made the urban legend of John McCain so prevalent. McCain gets great kudos in the media for being courageous enough to stand up against Republicans to the media in D.C. There is NOTHING MORE GUTLESS than doing that. The media will INSTANTLY FAWN over any Republican who goes against his own party...because the media HATES REPUBLICANS.

Have you ever wondered why the follks who love McCain are almost always media types...while those who know him best, fellow Senators....can't stand him? Remember, it was Senate Republicans who quickly endorsed Bush over McCain in the 2000 Primary season. He's the kind of guy you can't really dislike until you get to know him....and it's this phoniness driving that.

Sorry to Imus and Matthews and all the media dopes who have foolishly bought into this myth.  (More on this syndrome coming soon at DumpKarlRove.com)

LIBERALISM STRIKES AGAIN...Let's call 'em on it!
MAKE NO MISTAKE: Liberalism is a co-conspirator in the death of precious little Carlie in Florida. It is LIBERAL policy to allow repeat offenders back on the street time and time again. Judges and lawyers that allow and propogate this type of situation are liberals and friends of John Kerry...not friends of George Bush. It's time the White House points that out.

9-11 THE SAME: It is liberalism that weakens the CIA and other intelligence agencies at every turn....and it was a CIA shredded by liberalism that George Tenet took over under Clinton. Back the the Church Commission and further...liberals have underminded these efforts and it's high time the White House scrapped the New Tone (BS) and called them on it. Bill Clinton and Frank Church et al are friends of John Kerry...not George Bush. And it's time to make that plain to the American people.

KARL ROVE...are you paying attention?

COLD PIZZA NO REFUGE FROM KARL ROVE....
MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS this morning watching ESPN 2's "Cold Pizza" morning show....trying to avoid reality...when BAM...the reality of how the new tone moderate movement is destroying our President's effectiveness and thus his chances to fend off the socialist tide this November. The administration has apparently supported some anti hunting legilstion and nakedly done so because they feel like the hunters and the NRA vote "has no where else to go in November." And I guess...in typical Karl Rove "New Tone" fashion, they think moderates and libs will like them if they just get liberal enough on a few issues. WRONG. The libs will still vote Democrat and the hunters will go hunting and NOT VOTE. DAMN I hate this kind of wimpy Republican politics. It is a guaranteed loser, and will give us some poor legislation in the process.

DumpKarlRove.com is now a domain name we own. It will be up and running soon. I fully understand that the ultimate responsibility is George Bush's, not Karl Rove....but Rove is unfortunately the influence driving this cancer in the White House now. And I couldn't even escape it on ESPN2!

WMD......not MWD
TO UNDERSTAND the search for WMD...Weapons of Mass Destruction...you have to keep in mind one thing. These WMD's are generally tiny....they are NOT MASS WEAPONS of DESTRUCTION...they are small weapons of mass destruction. And Iraq is a huge country. And the stall game played by the UN gave them ample opps to hide them, bury them, ship them out to Syria or Iran or God knows where.

This is, in micro, what George Tenet was saying today in front of the Senate (and those irritating half specs worn so arrogantly by that idiot, Carl Levin of Michigan).

Levin, for the record, has stated un-equivocally that Iraq had WMD. But apparently, Levin has CRS or some other memory problem and hasn't brought that up this week. THANKS for Brit Hume and Fox News for reminding us.

FINALLY A TAKE ON JANET AND JUSTIN
ALMOST EVERY TAKE has been issued on this issue many times since halftime at the Super Bowl. But now, since we've seen a bit more of Janet than perhaps we needed to, I have one question. Just how far has the Jackson clan taken this going white thing? Does this dis-qualify them for help from Louis Fharrakan and his cronies? I thought Louie hated rich white folks.

KERRY GETS NASTY.....TICKET TAKING SHAPE...
KARL ROVE, the ridiculously overrated Bush political guru, must have been fumbling his scones last night as John Kerry totally discreditied the Rove "new tone" strategy in Washington by more or less calling Bush the most hated, dishonest elitist president in American history over the course of about three minutes.

WAY TO GO ROVE....and Mr. Prez....thank you for totally abandoning us...the folks who elected you...in a pathetic and immature attempt to get along with the liberals. See how well it worked? One thing for sure....we have a new tone...WE CAN'T STAND YOU anymore. We'll vote for you...but not in the numbers we would otherwise and we won't be sending along any cash. Damn...I hope you catch Usama between now and November.

KERRY'S WINS will make him very difficult to stop...although Edwards can take some momentum from a 15 point win in South Carolina and Wes Clark will live to fight another day thanks to Oklahoma. But more and more, it is beginning to look like Kerry Edwards. And let me tell you...as full of BS as these two mega millionaire common foke are....if Bush doesn't get back on message....the conservative message....he'll get killed and we will plunge another big step towards socialism full fledged.

WHITE FLAG IS OUT OFFICIALLY...even with SC in balance
If anyone needs proof that the Democrat primaries are nothing more than a race for John Kerry's heart and vee pee nomination...then look no further than the Edward's campaign stance today. They are saying that if Edwards does not win South Carolina, he will withdraw and endorse Kerry.

Now while all of this is fine and prudent...the ONLY reason to say that TODAY is to get your lips on Kerry's rear end sooner rather than later....to take a lead in the VP sweep stakes.

Having said that....middle of the day exit polling had Edwards up by double digits on Kerry in SC and Kerry being challenged by Dean and Clark in Oklahoma. A double digit win in SC might keep things interesting for a while. I still say it's the VP spot that's now up for grabs. The Dems flirted with suicide ala Dr. Dean-vorkian...and are so relieved to be past that...they are ready to annoint the phoney Kerry.

CRAZY AL: a whopping ten points in the SC primary early. In North Carolina, there's a conservative black candidate for congress named Vernon Robinson who has a slogan that goes "Jesse Helms is back...and this time, he's black."  I guess Sharpton could say "Jesse Jackson is back...and this time, he's STILL black."  Other than being the token du year....I can't imagine what Sharpton is doing....except beefing up his fund raising ability. Like Jackson, he is wealthy with no discernible job excpet that of Race and Poverty Pimp.

AHEAD OF THE CURVE: The Rush show today validated what this site told you days ago....that there is jealousy and back biting among the camps of Kerry and Edwards. Edwards's people are letting it out how much of a phoney Kerry is and how unpopular he is among anyone who gets to know him. Chief topic...his total ingnoring of Vets until his new found Iowa Vet religion. Pass da plate...amen!

WHY DO WE DO THIS?
Republicans seem to think they must go moderate and prove to moderates that we can "be good liberals, too" to win elections. WRONG. 20 plus years of history dispell this myth:
1980: Reagan unseats moderate incumbent in landslide by going hard right.
1984: All time landslide for Reagan by "staying the course."
1988: Easy win for Bush 41 because we thought he was Reagan like.
1992: Worst showing ever for incumbent..a newly found moderate Bush 41.
1994: Contract with America: very conservative agenda wins congress for first time in many decades for GOP
1996: Weak Clinton still swamps moderate Dole Kemp ticket. Kemp goes really wimpy in "mass-debate" with Gore.
1998: Funny mid terms..but Jesse Ventura wins in Minnesota as independent because he was more conservative than either candidate, including Republican Norm Coleman, in Minn. governors races. Never mind that Ventura was too stupid to realize that is why he won....but check out his campaign rhetoric...it was right wing!
2000: Bush barely wins...ran almost too moderate of a campaign against the liberal Gore.
2002: GOP didn't run conservative enough..but the Dems ran liberal enough to help us win in congress.
TOTAL: when we go right and distinguish ourselves and convince undecideds that we are right instead of trying to fake them out...we win. When we go moderate...we get killed.

I know this is counter intuitive to a lot of conventional wisdom. But remember, conventional wisdom is rarely wisdom...true wisdom is rarely conventional. If it were...most folks would be wise.....and I don't think too many people would argue that's the case.

ITS OVER....and other topics.........
HOW DO WE KNOW IT'S OVER? Easy. Because the last Dem debate was nothing more than an audition for the Vice Presidential spot on the Kerry ticket. It did not at all resemble the attacks that Dean got when he was the apparent front runner. I was happy to be wrong on the Edwards phenomenon...but look for a Kerry Edwards ticket if those two campaigns can sideline their mutual dislike.

WHICH CAROLINA? We've been hearing a lot about how well John Edwards needs to do in his "home state" of South Carolina. Wish that were the case. We'll ship him out in a skinny minute.

WHY IS SC SO IMPORTANT? You hear all this coverage of South Carolina this week...but it is only one of seven states...and one of the smallest of the seven...having primaries or cauci tomorrow. But it remains where everyone is focused.

I-MAN OUT OF TOUCH: Imus this morning (and his usually reliable news and side kick Charles McCord) were talking about what a liberal John Stossel is. Huh? Stossel is being practically black-balled at ABC for being a conservative...and his new book "GIMME A BREAK" is all about that. A real bad moment for the I-Man's show. He has always been very well connected...and never intellectually consistent.
