Chris Matthews of MSNBC continued to build the case today that he's the most over-rated intellect in the media  (an award he would certainly win outright or share with Bill O'Reilly) by proclaiming that President Bush  should be worried about the possibility of having to debate Howard Dean in the coming election because "Dean is relentless."

 

Yes, Dean is relentless...but he's wrong, Chris, on just about everything. He's an angry socialist and his rantings are playing now only to the far left extremes and they will stay that way unless terrible war and economic news ensues between now and November. As usual, Matthews has his "inside-the-beltway tunnelvision" and doesn't realize that it's events in the real world,  not Dr. Dean's idiotic rants, that are important. Maybe someone like Charles Krauthammer or Walter Williams could loan Matthews a couple dozen IQ points...he could use'em and they could spare'em.

A Christmas Day wire story appeared stating that the union for major league baseball players is upset that baseball salaries are escalating at only a 3 per cent  rate this year (roughly a 70K average raise into the 2 and a half million range).

 

Funny, they never complained or worried about the financial health of their game in years when it soared 20-30% annually. Are they really stupid enough to think that can last forever? (Don't answer that.)   

Fa la la la la...it's an ESPN Christmas with an NBA basketball game show casing a teen age millionaire who bought an 85 thousand dollar Hummer while in high school....and a halftime interview with Kobe Bryant talking about his rape trial. It's a wonderful life..........

Teresa "Effen" Heinz Kerry, wife of John "Effen" Kerry, recently explained trickle down economics as being "when folks who don't want to.... get wet." Huh? Apparently the only thing she knows about money is how to inherit it.

 

Let me help explain trickle down: when someone needs a loan or a job...who do you ask....a rich man or a poor man?  Now...with that established...will said rich man be more likely to give you that job or loan or raise if he is taxed to death....or has been allowed to keep some of his money?

 

Not that tough now is it? Then again, the only thing John Effen Kerry knows about money is how to marry it.
