IT IS KIND OF FUNNY TO SEE FOLKS strangled by their own arrogance...and that is exactly what is happening to Dan "Milhous" Rather. He remains the only person on the planet who still believes in the documents. My guess is, he's so removed from the real world an things like Microsoft word fonts and so on....not to mention so caught up in his own importance and percieved perfection...that he just can't bring himself to see the truth that was obvious on the "blogosphere" within seconds...and has become obvious to all other living creatures over the past few weeks.

The reaction on the right has been almost unanimous...this is no surprise...this is no shock...this is actually very funny and very pleasing....to see Rather and CBS exposed for what we have always known they are.

SPEAKING OF NOT GETTING IT....The Democratic campaign strategist are in this line also. They believe, after running the most bitter and hate filled FOUR YEAR campaign against a sitting President in modern times, that their problem is they have been "too nice" and now really are ready to ratchet up the heat. Give me a break!!

Still stinging from the GOP convention and the Swift Boat ad campaign....and what the cumulative effect on their nominee's poll numbers were and are...the hate is really being piled on from the left now.

MEMO to Dems: the Swift Boat ads were BELIEVED because the vets are believable and KERRY IS NOT. We all know pompous empty suits who get their position in life because they marry into it...and WE DON'T GENERALLY LIKE THEM....or BELIEVE THEM when they toot their own horns.

Gee....they talk about "Fortunate Son"....what about "FORTUNATE GROOM?"

Also, the GOP convention was about humorous attacks and tweaks on Kerry and Edwards...and people respond to humor....escpecially that little dagger of truth it involves. That little dagger was in there from Rudy, Cheney, Arnold...most of them. McCain had a laugh at the expense of de facto Dem strategist Michael Less....and the only vitriole came from a Democrat....which made it effective.

Wrighthot.com has long held that liberalism is just childishness in larger bodies...and all of this behavior is just child like. It ALL started with an immature "see we can be a war hero too" fake love affair with a phony human being....and has just regressed into pouting and name calling and pitiful "me too" attempts at copying the conservative onslaught of truth and humor against Kerry.

The childishness is also seen in the Rather-gate case. Ole Milhouse Rather was caught with his hands deep in the cookie jar, which las led to lying, stalling, denial, a phony apology, more stalling...I mean it is so predictable...just watch your kids when they do something wrong and then superimpose it on the next liberal you see....and it's just like the Microsoft Word version of the National Guard memo...A PERFECT MATCH.

THANKS TO THE INCREDIBLE ARROGANCE and pomposity of Dan Rather, news was suspended while the author was on vacation and the story we left is the story we return to...and even funnier.

The ultimate: Rather is now seen as "Nixonian." Who says God doesn't have a sense of humor.

MEMO to Rather: if the copies of the documents you have were forged and this is proven by the fact that it was done on a modern word processor...then the "originals" were done on a word processor also...and are fake! Get over it!

Rather is apparently the only person in America to still believe in the documents. (and you wonder why talk radio, cable, and blogs are taking over the information industry).

Let's get this straight: Rathers "un-impeachable" source is a known lunatic in Texas politics. His producer has been disowned by her own father for being a nut burger liberal. The "rush" to get the story on the air has been preceded by a FIVE YEAR vendetta against the Bush family. The main genesis of the story is an imagined water cooler dicussion. And on and on.

Bottom line: Dan Rather, known as an untrustworthy agenda'd organ for the Democratic Party by anyone paying attention the last thirty years...is now "out of the closet" for the world to see. So now on the trash heap of discredited news giants in the past year?: CBS News and the NY Times. And it was blind liberalism that led them both to that odiferous spot.

AND DON'T FORGET TOM HARKIN: (the new GOP MVP): Harkin did a lot for his opponents two years ago by cooridnating that ridiculous Paul Wellstone memorial service...the one that won the senate for the Republicans...and he is now doing a lot to tie the Democrats to this CBS mess...last week sanctimoniously jumping on the bandwagon about Bush and the Texas Air National Guaurd.

REMINDER TO DEMS: Bush NEVER made his military service as a young man the issue in his campaign...NEVER used that as a resume enhancer....it was YOUR guy who is stuck in the past.

DAN RATHER IS IN A FIGHT FOR HIS PROFESSIONAL LIFE: including his legacy....and he has decided to hunker in the bunker instead and risk mortal injury instead of waving the white flag early and sneaking out with just a flesh wound. THIS will be interesting, including its effect on Bush v. Kerry.

IT IS OBVIOUS that the documents in question are bogus...it is one in a zillion this guy would write such a document...one in a zillion he would have had access to the type of equipment used...the format is not standard military....and on and on. In short..it's BS.

BUT DAN has decided to stick it out and hope for an "expert versus expert" tie in the court of public opinion. This kind of tie can be gained perhaps, thanks to the preponderance of liberals in our media. However...with talk radio, the internet and Fox News...not to mention some liberals who would personally love to see Dan take a fall...it is not a done deal. This story has some legs, it would appear...and the longer Dan tries to force a tie...the worse it will be, in liklihood, for Kerry Edwards.

Weekend TV news shows will be interesting.

WELL LOOKEY HERE....after all these years, we find out about the true ACLU. Yes, on their new television ad campaign...or actually by the "ACLU Foundation" which is probably a 527 group...the ACLU says that what they stand for is "neither liberal or conservative...not left or right."

Well, they're partly correct. What they stand for isn't conservative and it has NEVER BEEN RIGHT. Who are they trying to fool with this nonsense.

This particular ad was about the Patriot Act...but you know, I didn't hear much from the ACLU about stuff like this while the Twin Towers were still smoking. Just more proof...it is only after years of conservative rule that America is safe enough for liberals. NOTE: we aren't safe enough yet.

KERRY NOW says he would have had our allies pay for the Iraq war and spent the 200 billion on health care, education, job creation, etc. MEMO TO KERRY: the FIRST repsonsibility of the Federal Government is our COMMON DEFENSE...not the other stuff.

BTW...are we to believe...that on the strength of John Kerry's character and charisma (ha) that he would charm the French and the Germans et al out of their cash for this war? I mean really...you would think he's been a professional gold digger or something. Er, well, maybe he DOES have a point.....
